What is RepGain?

RepGain is a minimalist gym tracker for iPhone designed for lifters who want a focused, distraction-free way to log workouts. You can log sets, reps, and weights; manage workout routines; view strength progress charts; set weekly training goals; and use iOS home screen widgets to stay consistent. RepGain works without an internet connection or account.

Is RepGain free to use?

Yes. RepGain is free to download with core workout logging, templates, and rest timer included. A Pro subscription ($5.99/month or $44.99/year) unlocks progress charts, stagnation detection, smart rep-range recommendations, weekly consistency tracking, unlimited templates, and post-workout summaries.

What does RepGain Pro include?

RepGain Pro includes: smart rep-range recommendations based on your training goal and history, post-workout progress summaries, stagnation detection that flags exercises where you have plateaued, detailed exercise history with progress charts, weekly consistency tracking and goals, unlimited workout templates, and custom exercises beyond the built-in library.

Does RepGain work on Android?

Currently RepGain is available exclusively on iPhone (iOS 16 or later) and iPad. An Android version is not available at this time.

Does RepGain have home screen widgets?

Yes. RepGain includes iOS home screen widgets that show your weekly session progress — how many workouts you have completed versus your weekly goal. The widget updates automatically after each completed workout.

What training goals does RepGain support?

RepGain supports three training goals: Max Strength (1–5 reps, 3-minute rest, focused on maximum force output), Hypertrophy (6–15 reps, 90-second rest, focused on muscle growth), and Muscular Endurance (15–20 reps, 60-second rest). Your chosen goal sets default rep ranges and rest times throughout the app.

Does RepGain support kg and lbs?

Yes. RepGain supports both kilograms and pounds. The app automatically detects your preferred unit from your device locale and you can change it anytime in your profile settings.

Do I need an account or internet connection?

No. RepGain works completely offline. All your workout data is stored locally on your iPhone. You do not need to create an account, sign in, or have an internet connection to use any part of the app.
